Jeanne has been involved in education for over 47 years.  After retiring 6 years ago from the classroom, she became a kindergarten teaching assistant.  This year she is working with the third graders as a large group support educator. Her experience spans grades kindergarten through third grade.  After attending Westfield State University to earn her undergraduate degree, she got her master’s degree in education at Cambridge College.  The best part of her job is to find new ways to excite children about learning.  It is so wonderful to see the “Aha!” moment when a student gets it.  She looks forward to continue teaching and learning with all the Bright Start students.

Her favorite activities are reading, walking, spending time at the beach, and mostly spending

time with her grandchildren, Jacob and Chloe.

Adriana is a certified teacher who has worked in education over the past four years. She received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education and master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Keene State College. During the day, she works as a Teaching Assistant at Bishop to support students in the classroom.

Adriana leads STEM activities that teach scientific principles in a fun, hands-on way. In her group, students are presented with a task or challenge they must solve. This is done by building structures, designing devices, and experimenting with different materials. Her favorite part about teaching STEM is that students can show their creativity because there is no right or wrong way to solve a problem.

In her free time, Adriana likes to bake desserts, read books, play with her family dog, and spend time with her friends.
